What do we do?
Integral duct cleaning
We clean all types of flues: chimneys, gas-oil boilers, natural gas, biomass boilers, pellet cookers, barbecues, ovens, and more. We remove soot from every corner and leave chimneys clean and safe, with the utmost care and respect for your home and the environment.
Root canal brushing is the only effective, proven and permitted cleaning method in most European countries (France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, England, Spain...).
Chimneys and cookers regularly accumulate "creosote" (oily liquid and soot) and need to be cleaned and inspected regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Chimney sweeping and removal of vitrified material prevents the accumulation of deposits that could ignite in the chimney and spread the fire to the whole house and/or adjoining dwellings.
The concentration of soot in a flue or chimney increases the risk of air pollution. A properly maintained installation contributes to improving the quality of the air we breathe.
A dirty duct impairs the proper functioning of an installation, deteriorating it and reducing its service life.
In a dirty or clogged flue, flue gases cannot be properly evacuated and pose a health hazard.
Regulations in force in Andorra
The Government of Andorra approved in 2006, in a decree published in the BOPA, a modification of the regulations on the maintenance of boilers, both at the community level of buildings and at the individual level. This regulation establishes that all boiler owners must have a maintenance service contracted with a company authorised by the government.
Safety regulations for tanks and equipment for the use of hydrocarbons in living quarters
Art. 23/Table 2; Maintenance operations
The ducts must be cleaned once a year.
Article 53
Chimneys for boilers with a total output of more than 50 kW (43,200 kcal/h) must be cleaned periodically at least once a year for boilers with an alternating output of up to six months or less and twice a year for all other boilers.
Qualified company
The applicable regulations stipulate that chimney sweeping is compulsory and must be carried out by a company or a qualified person. Insurance companies will not be liable for claims in the event of fire or other chimney problems if the chimney cleaning certificate and/or invoice cannot be produced.
